Shanghai World Expo 2010

Pendulum in the German Pavilion at the world exhibition in Shanghai.

In cooperation with the Stuttgart event agency Milla and Partner, scientists from the University of Stuttgart have developed a giant interactive pendulum for the world exhibition EXPO 2010 in Shanghai. The Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units played a substantial role in developing and  realizing the drive, control and security concepts.
