Kurzbeschreibung/Abstract
Machine diagnoses and condition monitoring methods help engineers to prevent the break off of the machines or components or at least predict when they would be happened. Condition monitoring in the field of machine tools is also very important as failure of a vital component could lead to termination of the whole production process. Visual monitoring, performance monitoring, vibration and wear debris monitoring are the four specific classical ways of condition monitoring of systems. In the present project, condition monitoring of the spindle nut system of a machine tool would be performed. The application of very efficient FEM models of machine components in monitoring of the system would be investigated, and sensitivity analysis in order to get valid physical parameters of the system is carried out. This would lead to an appropriate reduced model of the system. By putting the stiffness and damping parameters of the each component in a data base and using this parameter history as a reference of defect detection in the system, condition monitoring as an online device while implementing some vibrational and electrical input signals could be performed.
